6x6 Oil on Panel. This little sparrow holds a very special place in my heart. Not only was it a joy to paint, with carefully placed brushtrokes for each feather, but it was inspired by some of my favorite passages: Matthew. 6:26-34 and 10:29-31. I hope wherever it hangs it serves as a reminder that "your heavenly Father knows what you need," and "you are of more value than many sparrows."
